This exceptional Geisha comes from Finca Buena Vista in Guatemala’s renowned Antigua Valley, produced by Luis Pedro Zelaya Aguirre and sourced through The Coffee Quest. Grown at elevations between 1,500 and 1,890 meters, the coffee benefits from Antigua’s volcanic soils and cool mountain climate, allowing the cherries to mature slowly and develop remarkable sweetness and aromatic complexity. Carefully selected at peak ripeness, the cherries are depulped, fermented and thoroughly washed before being dried on African drying beds for up to 16 days, with regular movement to ensure even and consistent drying. This meticulous washed process highlights the natural elegance and clarity of the Geisha variety, resulting in a refined and highly aromatic cup. The profile opens with vibrant peach and tangerine, develops into delicate chamomile tea, and finishes with an expressive floral character, creating a beautifully clean, sweet and sophisticated coffee with exceptional aromatic depth.
