The Caturra Chiroso variety stands out for its distinctive strawberry character, rich tropical fruit flavours and pleasantly jammy body. Its complex flavour profile shines particularly in pour-over brewing methods, revealing remarkable depth and sweetness, while also making a delightful espresso with a lingering dark chocolate finish. Nubia is a special coffee from the Vergara family, who established their farm in 1990. Today, the farm is run by siblings Jhoan and Carlos, fourth-generation coffee producers who each oversee different aspects of the business, supported by a small but dedicated team. During our visit to Colombia in 2023, we had the pleasure of meeting the brothers and tasting their coffee, whose exceptional sweetness remains unforgettable. With an expressive flavour profile featuring strawberry jam, dragon fruit, mango chips, fig and dark chocolate, Nubia delivers a captivating experience that combines vibrant tropical fruit, natural sweetness and rich chocolate depth in every cup.
