This exceptional 100% Arabica coffee from Uganda is grown on the fertile slopes of Mount Elgon, one of East Africa’s most distinctive coffee-growing regions. Produced by Isaac Obua, this carefully selected lot brings together the emblematic Nyasaland, SL14 and SL28 varieties, reflecting the rich genetic heritage of the Elgon region. The washed process enhances the coffee’s clarity and aromatic precision, revealing a beautifully layered cup with notes of golden caramel, creamy milk chocolate and vibrant orange. The profile opens with rich caramel sweetness, followed by a silky chocolate texture and a gentle citrus brightness that adds freshness and definition. A smooth, rounded body and elegant acidity create a sophisticated balance, while the milk chocolate character provides depth and a lingering, indulgent finish.
